After decades of switching from caustic soda solution on one leg to all sorts of dry bulk products on the return leg with the CABU vessels, Klaveness decided to expand the combination carrier concept into the clean petroleum product industry with the CLEANBU vessels. It has been a lot of hard work, a lot of “try a little, learn a lot”, a lot of value creation for customers and investors and a lot of fun.
